Call Out Procedures
Heed users are implementing new procedures to suit their regions’ needs
Response protocol
A council’s operations team know their infrastructure well. If they receive 3 consecutive alerts at certain locations within a 6-hour period, it means a blockage has occurred and a sucker truck needs to go out.
Alliance partners
A region’s alliance partner have Heed dashboard access in their vehicles. The alliance and local council have agreed that if the alliance team see an alert go off near them, they will go look down the manhole pro bono. If further action is required, they notify the council and raise a work order.
Event types
A council has assigned their alerts to go to different team members depending on the event type and location. They have separate groupings for wet weather events, dry weather events, and mechanical alerts.
